Washer Nozzle, Adjusting

-- Adjust the spray nozzles for the rear window washer system. Refer to WINDSHIELD WASHER SYSTEM, CHECK SPRAY PATTERN AND ADJUSTING IF NECESSARY .

-- Clean the dirty washer nozzle if the spray field does not match the specifications.

Washer Nozzle, Cleaning:

CAUTION:

There is a risk of damaging the washer nozzles through improper handling.

- Do not use any objects to clean the washer nozzles.

Windshield wiper axle washer nozzle:

-- Remove the washer nozzle. Refer to WASHER NOZZLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Carefully expand the cap -arrows- and lift off.

-- Carefully remove the washer nozzle -2- and remove the washer fluid hose -3- from the guide.

Continuation for all:

-- Rinse the washer nozzle with clean water opposite the spray direction.

-- To remove any remaining contaminants, the washer nozzle may only be blown out with compressed air in the opposite direction of the spray direction.

-- If the spray field still does not correspond to the specifications, replace the washer nozzle.
