Sway Stabilization Control Module 2 -J1096-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- If the Sway Stabilization Control Module 2 -J1096- is replaced, select the "Control module, replacing" program. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC ENTRIES .

-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.

-- Vehicles with rear axle steering; remove the rear axle steering gear. Refer to REAR AXLE STEERING GEAR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and then remove the heat shield -1-.

-- De-energize the 48 Volt system. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Disconnect the connectors -2 and 3- and free up the wires.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the Sway Stabilization Control Module 2 -J1096- -item 1-.
