Two-Piece SUBFRAME Shield, Removing And Installing: Removing

• Vehicles with active suspension: pay attention to the safety precautions. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN WORKING ON VEHICLES WITH ACTIVE SUSPENSION .

Shield Upper Section, Removing

-- Push the front wheels to the right.

Vehicles with Sway Stabilization Control Module -J924- in vehicle interior on right a-pillar

-- Free up the connectors -3- for the suspension stabilization actuator on the bracket.

-- Remove the bolt -2- and lock washer -1- and remove the bracket.

-- Remove the bolts/nuts -arrows- and the subframe shield upper section -1-.

Shield Lower Section, Removing

-- Remove the transmission mount. Refer to TRANSMISSION MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING - 2.0L , TRANSMISSION MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING - 3.0L .

LHD with High-Voltage System:

-- Remove the nut -2- at the right side of the vehicle.

RSQ8 with High-Voltage System:

-- Remove the nut -2- at the left side of the vehicle.

Continuation for All Vehicles:

-- Free up the hose -3- at the shield lower section -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
