Backrest Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Comfort Seats: Removing

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Secure the front seat to the :VAS6136 . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove the headrest. Refer to HEADREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HEADREST WITH HEIGHT AND ANGLE ADJUSTER .

-- Remove the backrest cover. Refer to BACKREST COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STANDARD/SPORT.COMFORT SEAT .

-- Remove the front backrest fan. Refer to BACKREST FAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If installed, remove the massage function valve block 1 and free up the pneumatic lines for the massage mat. Refer to VALVE BLOCK 2 IN DRIVER / FRONT PASSENGER SEAT -N476- / -N478-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release and disconnect the backrest heating wiring harness on the seat pan and free it up.

-- Disengage the lower, upper and side molding from the backrest frame -arrows-.

-- Remove the front thorax airbag. Refer to FRONT THORAX AIRBAG WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disengage the hooks on the sides of the backrest frame -A arrows-.

-- Disengage the inner molding on the wire bracket -B arrows-.

-- Loosen the cover with the cushion from the backrest frame and remove forward carefully.
