Backrest Adjustment Stop Switch, Removing And Installing, Third Row: Removing

-- Remove the third row seat. Refer to THIRD ROW SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If the backrest is folded in, connect the backrest adjustment motor to an external power source and fold the backrest upright. Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram.

-- Remove the cover and cushion. Refer to COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, THIRD ROW BACKREST .

-- Stop switch on side sill side: remove the backrest adjustment motor. Refer to BACKREST ADJUSTMENT MOTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, THIRD ROW .

-- Press the release to disconnect the connector -1- and free it up.

-- Remove the cable bracket -2-.

CAUTION:

Risk of injury due to flying metal shavings.

Irritation and injury to skin and eyes possible.

- Wear protective eyewear.

- Wear safety gloves.

-- Drill out the rivet -arrow-.

-- Remove the backrest adjustment stop switch -3- from the backrest frame.
