Fresh Air Blower -V2- WITH Fresh Air Blower Control Module -J126-, EMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

Vehicles with High-Voltage System

-- Switch off (deactivate) the "parking air conditioner".Refer to Owner's Manual.

Continuation for all vehicles

-- Position the front passenger seat as far back as possible.

-- Switch off the ignition.

-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the footwell vent on the front passenger side. Refer to FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FOOTWELL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If equipped, remove the air duct for the glove compartment cooling. Refer to AIR GUIDE FOR GLOVE COMPARTMENT COOLING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release the connector -A- and disconnect from the Fresh Air Blower -V2- (with the Fresh Air Blower Control Module -J126-)-C-.

-- Remove the insulation -B-.

-- Remove the bolts -A-.

CAUTION:

There is a risk of burns from the hot radiating surface of the fresh air blower control module.

It is possible to burn hands.

- Wear safety gloves.

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the fresh air blower if operated incorrectly.

Imbalance and problems during operation is possible.

- Avoid using force on the fan wheel.

- Never move the balancing weight on the fan wheel.

- Do not place the fresh air blower on the fan wheel.

-- Remove the Fresh Air Blower -V2- (with the Fresh Air Blower Control Module -J126-)-B- carefully from air intake housing -C-.
