Refrigerant Circuit Component Allocation, Influence On High And Low Pressure Sides: O-Rings

These rings seal off the connection points between individual components of the refrigerant circuit.

Only O-rings that are resistant to refrigerant R134a and the associated refrigerant oil may be used. Make sure they are original replacement parts.

O-Rings:

-- Always use only once.

-- Make sure diameters -a- and -b- are correct.

-- Coat with refrigerant oil before installing. Refer to Refrigerant Circuit (vehicle-specific repair information) and the appropriate Electronic Parts Information.

NOTE:

The O-ring color coding for refrigerant circuits with R134a has been discontinued. Black and colored O-rings are used. Refer to the appropriate Electronic Parts Information and Refrigerant Circuit (vehicle-specific repair information).
