Wheel Housing Extension, Removing And Installing, Front: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• The vehicle and the cover must be at room temperature.
• The adhesive surfaces must be free of dirt and grease.

-- Remove the adhesive residue from the body.

-- Clean the painted side of the adhesive surface with Cleaning Solution and let it dry.

-- Fold back the end of the protective film, or attach a pulling aid -3- to the protective film.

-- Position the wheel housing extension -1- on the wheel arch trim -2- -arrow-.

-- Install the clamps -4- between the ribs -5- of the wheel housing extension -1-.

• The wheel housing extension -1- must contact the ribs -5- in the area of the clamps -4- on the wheel cover -2-.

-- Remove the protective film on the pulling aids from the adhesive tape -3-.

-- Press on the wheel housing extension -1- in the adhesive surface area with the Roller :T40400  .

Continuation:

• Vehicle resting time is at least 60 minutes at room temperature.
