Trim Molding, Removing And Installing, Engine Compartment Lid: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
- The vehicle and the cover must be at room temperature.
- The adhesive surfaces must be free of dirt and grease.
-- Remove the adhesive residue from the body.
-- Clean the painted side of the adhesive surface with Cleaning Solution and let it dry.
-- Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape -2-.
-- Align the trim molding -1- over the locating pin -3- on the engine compartment lid.
-- Press on the trim molding -1- in the adhesive surface area with the Roller :T40400 .
- Vehicle resting time is at least 60 minutes at room temperature.
