- Pay attention to the correct routing: make sure the brake hose is not blocked, bent or rubbing against the vehicle
- Make sure that tabs are properly seated in the grooves on the bracket.

Steel Brake Rotors
- Refer to BRAKE ROTOR, CHECKING, STEEL BRAKES
- Always replace on both axles.
- When replacing the brake rotors, also replace the brake pads.
- Refer to BRAKE ROTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STEEL BRAKES
Ceramic Brake Rotors
- Refer to BRAKE ROTORS, CHECKING, CERAMIC BRAKES
- Do not replace the damaged or worn brake rotor individually on a complete axle.
- If only one brake rotor is replaced, the brake pads can be reused, if they do not show any damages.
- Pay attention to the side of the vehicle specified on the brake rotor "L" / "R" and the running direction "arrow"
- Refer to BRAKE ROTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, CERAMIC BRAKES

- Allocation. Refer to the appropriate Electronic Parts Information.
- Check the pad thickness. For the wear limit. Refer to BRAKE PADS, CHECKING THICKNESS .

- Always replace on both axles.

Brake Pad Installation Position
-- Pay attention to the labeling on the backing plate of the brake pads.
GA - Outside
HB - Inner
or:
E - Inner Left
Q - Inner Right
S - Outer Left
D - Outer Right
If the labeling is not present, the installation position can still be determined using the shape of the locking plate.
Small backing plate - outside
Large backing plate - Inside
