Molded Foam Part, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
CAUTION:
Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.
Risk of injury.
- Discharge the static electricity: quickly touch the door striker.
-- Disconnect the connector -2- by pulling out the connector lock and pressing it down (refer to Figure).
-- Release the tabs -arrows- and remove the molded foam part -1- from the bumper carrier.
