The Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- is installed and is used for hands-free calling.
The Cellular Telephone -R54- is done via Bluetooth using the wireless data transfer antenna Wireless Data Transfer Antenna -R336- /Wireless Data Transfer Antenna 2 -R366- and the Bluetooth Antenna -R152- in the Roof Antenna -R216-.
It can be operated using the MMI Infotainment system or by the Cellular Telephone -R54-.
The Left Front Microphone -R140- and the Right Front Microphone -R141- are installed in the Front Roof Module -WX3-.
The Mobile Device Charger 1 -J1146- (Audi phone box light) is installed in the front center console storage compartment. The Mobile Device Charger 1 -J1146- is only equipped with a module for wireless charging of the corresponding Cellular Telephone -R54-.

A standardized radio connection is used for data transfer between the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794- and Cellular Telephone -R54- - Bluetooth Technology. The range of the radio connection is approximately 10 m (32.8 feet).
