Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Set the ignition key outside of the vehicle.

-- Remove the right front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Lift the front carpet at the transition to the rear carpet.

The Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- is clipped into the bracket.

-- Push the retainers in the -direction of the arrow B-

-- Remove the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- -1- from the bracket -2-.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors -3-.

Bracket, Removing

-- Remove the wiring harness from the bracket -2-.

-- Remove the nut -arrow A-.

-- Pull the bracket -2- off the threaded pin and remove it rearward from the body.
