DVD Player -R7-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Notes

The DVD Player -R7- is located in the glove compartment.

If the DVD Player -R7- is being replaced, the following procedure applies:

-- Connecting and switching on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- Select and start the Diagnostic operating mode.

-- Select the Test plan tab.

-- Select the Select individual test button and select the following tree structure consecutively:

005F - Information Electronics Control Module 1 - J794 (MIB 2+) or 005F - Information Electronics Control Module 1 - J794 (MIB 3)
005F - Information Electronics Control Module 1, functions
06E9 - DVD Player -R7 Replacing or 06E9 - Media Player 1, Replacing

-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.
