Overview - Cylinder Block, Belt Pulley Side, A/C Compressor Belt Drive, 2.9L Engine Without Electrical Compressor

1. Bolt
   • Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - A/C COMPRESSOR POWER UNIT .
2. Ribbed Belt
   • Check for wear
   • Do not kink
   • Belt path. Refer to Fig 2.
   • Before removing, mark the running direction using chalk or a felt-tip pen.
   • Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT FOR A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 2.9L ENGINE .
   • When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the belt pulleys
3. Bolt
   • 25 Nm
4. Idler Roller
   • For the ribbed belt
5. Bolt
   • 40 Nm
6. Tensioner
   • For the ribbed belt
   • Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER FOR A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 2.9L ENGINE .
7. Bolt
   • Tightening specification -item  ) OVERVIEW - CYLINDER BLOCK, BELT PULLEY SIDE, BELT DRIVE GENERATOR, 2.9L/3.0L ENGINE - List Item: Bolt
8. Vibration Damper
   • Removing and installing. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
9. Bolt
   • Tightening Specifications and Sequence. Refer to Fig 3.
10. Alignment Sleeves
11. Bolt
    • Tightening Specifications and Sequence. Refer to Fig 3.
12. Bracket
    • For the A/C compressor
    • Removing and installing. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 2.9L ENGINE WITHOUT ELECTRICAL COMPRESSOR .
13. A/C Compressor
    • Removing and installing. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING FROM BRACKET .
