Ignition Coil, Removing And Installing: Removing

All except Audi Q7/Q8:

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Refer to the appropriate Service Information.

-- Remove the cap -2-.

-- Release the retainer -arrow B- and remove the oil filler tube -1- upward from the air filter lower section.

-- Turn the oil filler tube counter-clockwise -arrow A- and remove it.

-- Close the oil filler tube with the cap.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -arrow-, remove the air duct pipe from the air filter housing and push it slightly to the side.

-- Remove and disconnect the connector -2- for the Oxygen Sensor 1 Before Catalytic Converter -GX10- from the bracket.

-- Remove the nut -2-, free up the ground wire -1- and remove the double bolt -3- from underneath.

-- Release the connectors and simultaneously disconnect them from the ignition coils in the -direction of the arrow-.

-- Insert the Puller:T10530  in the ignition coil opening -1-.

-- Turn the knurled nut -2- clockwise -arrow- until the puller is clamped.

-- Remove the ignition coil carefully vertically -arrow- using the Puller:T10530  .
