Engine, Securing To Engine And Transmission Holder

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Engine and Gearbox Bracket:VAS 6095A

Procedure

• Engine engaged with the Engine Sling:2024A  on the Shop Crane:VAS 6100  . Refer to ENGINE, REMOVING FROM SCISSOR LIFT TABLE .

-- Remove the intermediate plate. Refer to Fig 2.

-- Remove the left alignment sleeve from the cylinder block.

-- Secure the engine to the Engine and Gearbox Bracket:VAS 6095A  -item 1-.

Assembling

Assemble in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Insert the left alignment sleeve into the cylinder block.

-- Install the intermediate plate. Refer to Fig 2.
