Front Exit Warning Lamp, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connector -1- and free up the connector -2-.
-- Release the catches -3 and 6-.
-- Push the interior door handle illumination fiber-optic cable -8- upward and out of the mount in the direction of -arrow-. Doing so will detach the exit warning lamp -7- from the mount.
-- Release the retainers and remove the lamp -5- from the fiber-optic cable -4-.
