Right LED Headlamp Power Output Module 1 -A27- /Left LED Headlamp Power Output Module 1 -A31-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

Vehicles with 6-Cylinder Engine:

CAUTION:

The cooling system is under pressure when the engine is warm. There is a risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.

Scalding the skin and other parts of the body is possible.

- Wear safety gloves.

- Wear protective eyewear.

- Reduce the pressure by covering the coolant expansion tank cap with a cloth and carefully opening it.

-- Open the coolant expansion tank cap -1- by releasing the catch in the direction of -arrow-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Pry up the clamp -4- and remove the coolant line.

-- Remove the bolts -2 and 3-.

-- Release the catch in the direction of -arrow- and tie up the coolant expansion tank to the left side.

Continuation for all:

-- Right side of the vehicle: Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING - 2.0L DMSA , AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING - 2.0L DPVA , AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING - 3.0L .

-- Remove the bolts (depending on the version: 3 or 4) -arrows-.

-- Remove the power output module -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- To disconnect push the connector tab -3-, pivot the retaining bracket -4- upward and remove the connector.
