Tire Package Definition

To increase energy efficiency, environmental protection, and driving safety special tire packages were developed by the Audi AG for every vehicle model and assembled based on the engine.

To attain an efficient product for the final consumer, the tire packages were developed to reduce CO2 emissions according to a European Union requirement and also to maintain country-specific tax provisions.

There Are Three Options for Determining the Tire Package Assigned to a Vehicle:

  1. Using the version key in the certificate of registration part 1. Refer to CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION PART 1 
  2. Using the version key in the certificate of registration Part 2
  3. Using the version key in the EG declaration of compliance (COC-paper). Refer to CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY (EG CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY) .
