Brake Caliper Piston, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn the spindle with a XZN 9 Socket -item A- in the direction of -arrow a-. This allows the thrust nut to push the brake caliper piston -3- out of the brake caliper -1-.

-- Carefully pry the protective cap -4- out of the groove -arrow- on the front brake caliper piston -3-.

-- Carefully pry the inner sealing lip of the protective cap -4- out of the groove -arrows- on the brake caliper -1-.

-- Remove the brake caliper piston -3-. To do so, use the Trim Removal Wedge:3409  .

-- Pry out the seal -2- from the brake caliper -1- carefully using the Trim Removal Wedge:T10498  .
