Exhaust Temperature Regulation Components, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Protect the exhaust gas temperature sensor against knocks and impacts. A dropped exhaust gas temperature sensor may not be used again.

-- Coat the exhaust gas temperature sensor thread with hot bolt past. Refer to the appropriate Electronic Parts Information.

• The hot bolt paste must not get on the slots on the exhaust gas temperature sensor.
• Pay attention to the installation position. Refer to OVERVIEW - EXHAUST TEMPERATURE REGULATION .
