Roof Railing, Removing And Installing: Removing

- Discharge static electricity by briefly touching the door striker.

-- Remove the head curtain airbag with igniter -1- on the B-pillar from the body. The head curtain airbag remains installed. Refer to HEAD CURTAIN AIRBAG WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release and disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- using the : T40078 .

-- Remove the roof railing upward.
