Rear Lid Trim Molding, Removing And Installing: Installing

• The vehicle and the trim molding must be at room temperature.
• The adhesive surfaces must be free of dirt and grease.

-- Remove adhesive residue from the body.

-- Clean the painted side of the adhesive surface with Cleaning Solution: D 009 401 04  and let dry.

-- Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape -2-.

-- Push on the trim molding until it engages audibly.

-- Press on the trim molding in the adhesive surface area with the : 3356  .

• Vehicle resting time is at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
