Backrest Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Standard/Sport Seat: Removing

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Secure the front seat to the :VAS6136  . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Equipped on some models: remove the multimedia system display unit. Refer to INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM .

-- Remove the backrest cover. Refer to BACKREST COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STANDARD/SPORT.COMFORT SEAT .

-- Release the backrest heating wiring harness on the seat pan disconnect and free it up.

-- Disengage the hooks on the sides of the backrest frame -A arrows- .

-- Disengage the molding on the backrest frame -B arrows- .

-- Remove the front thorax airbag. Refer to FRONT THORAX AIRBAG WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disengage the inner molding on the wire frame -arrows- .

-- Loosen the cover with the cushion from the backrest frame and remove forward carefully.
