Backrest Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Comfort Seats: Removing

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Secure the front seat to the :VAS6136  . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove the front backrest. Refer to FRONT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If equipped, remove the front seat backrest fan. Refer to FRONT SEAT FAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SEAT BACKREST .

-- If installed, remove the massage function valve block 1 and free up the pneumatic lines for the massage mat. Refer to MASSAGE FUNCTION VALVE BLOCK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Detach the hooks -arrows- on the backrest frame.

-- Disengage the center lower molding -1- on the backrest frame.

-- Disengage the upper and side molding from the backrest frame -arrows- .

-- Remove the front thorax airbag. Refer to FRONT THORAX AIRBAG WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Detach the inner cover molding -3- at the upholstery wire -2- by hand or using the : 3438  .

-- Free up the backrest heating wiring harness.

-- If installed, remove the massage mat pneumatic line -4- forward.

-- If installed, remove the fan rubber boot -1- from the module carrier.

-- Loosen the cover and cushion from the backrest frame and remove them upward.
