Outer Seat Frame Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the front seats all the way forward.

-- If possible, move the rear seat into the most forward position and fold the backrest forward.

-- Unclip the lower cover -1- from the trim panel -arrow A-.

-- Remove the upper cover from the trim panel -arrow B-.

-- Remove the expanding clips -arrows-.

-- Remove the rear bench seat cover and cushion. Refer to COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR BENCH SEAT .

-- Disengage the retainer -arrow A- and fold up the lower tab on the trim panel.

-- Disengage the trim panel on the seat frame -arrow B- and guide out the folding backrest lever -1- through the gap.

-- Disengage the backrest hinge trim panel -2- from the backrest hinge and remove it.
