Seat Frame Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the bench seat / bucket seats. Refer to BENCH SEAT/SINGLE SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Move the front seats all the way forward.

-- Remove the rear carpet in the rear seat area. Refer to CARPET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fold the carpet forward toward the front seats.

Tip:

The carpet can be secured with cable ties to the headrests on the front seats.

-- Unclip the wire -1- and -2- on the seat frame mount -3- -arrows-.

-- To protect the sill panel, attach the :VAS871 001  before lifting out.

-- Remove the bolts -1, 2, and 3-.

-- Remove the seat frame mount -4- with a second technician.
