Bench Seat/Single Seat, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Loosen the seat bolt caps and remove forward in the -direction of the arrow-.

-- Remove the bench seat cover and cushion. Refer to COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR BENCH SEAT .

-- Depending on vehicle equipment, release and disconnect any connectors.

-- To protect the sill panel before prying out the rear seat, apply the :VAS871 001  .

-- If possible, position the rear seat as far back as possible using the forward/back adjustment.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Fold the backrest on the rear seat -2- forward.

-- Remove the rear seat -1- carefully from the vehicle with a second technician.
