Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Remove the luggage compartment roll cover.
-- If equipped, pry out the expanding pin -1- with a small screwdriver up to the second stop.
-- If equipped, remove the roll cover driver -2-.
-- Remove the tie-downs. Refer to TIE DOWN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Equipped on some models: remove the rail. Refer to RAIL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the lock carrier trim panel. Refer to LOCK CARRIER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Vehicles with Loading Sill Lowering and Trailer Hitch Control Head -EX52-
-- Pry out the trim -2- with a small screwdriver in the -direction of the arrow-.
-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.
Continuation for All Vehicles
-- Free up the luggage compartment side trim panel in the area of the rear lid seal.
-- Unclip the luggage compartment side trim panel -1- from the body starting at the back in the direction of the -arrow A to D-.
-- Pull the luggage compartment side trim panel slightly inward while releasing and disconnecting the connectors.
Right Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel
-- Loosen the emergency release adjusting element for the fuel filler door and guide out.

-- Pull the luggage compartment side trim panel upward from the support direction of -arrow E- and remove it.
