Overview - Telephone, AUDI Phone Box, 9ZE

The Mobile Device Charger 1 -J1146- (Audi phone box) is installed in the front center console storage compartment. It can be operated using the MMI Infotainment system or by the Cellular Telephone -R54-.

The microphones for the Microphone Unit In Front Roof Module -R164- are integrated in the Front Roof Module -WX3-. One microphone (Left Front Microphone -R140-) is connected directly to the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-. On IW1/IW3 and IV0 via the Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface - J533- and on IW1/IW3 and IV1 through IV8 via the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949-.

The LTE Antenna 3 -R330- located behind the rear bumper cover on the right side is used to connect to the cellular network.

The antenna connection is located on the Cellular Telephone Amplifier -R86- in the luggage compartment on the right rear side.

Fault Finding is performed using the "Guided Fault Finding"  on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
