Roof Antenna, Removing And Installing: Notes

Depending on the equipment, the following antennas may be included in the Roof Antenna -R216- :

• GPS Antenna -R50-
• Satellite Tuner Antenna -R172-
• Auxiliary Heater Antenna -R182-
• LTE Antenna 1 -R297-
• Emergency Call Module Antenna 2 -R322-
• LTE Antenna 3 -R330-
• Roof Antenna Control Module -JX3-

The antenna wires are connected directly to the base of the Roof Antenna -R216-.

Before removing the Roof Antenna -R216-, check if the Roof Antenna Control Module -JX3- is present (diagnostic address 8107 - antenna module).

-- If replacing the control module, select the "Replace control module" function for the corresponding control module on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

The headliner must be removed in order to remove the Roof Antenna -R216-.
