Catalytic Converter, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the nuts -arrows-.
CAUTION:
There is a risk of burn injuries due to a hot exhaust system.
Possible to burn hands and other parts of the body.
- Allow the exhaust system to cool.
-- Remove the rear noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the nut -2-.
-- Remove the bolt -1- and remove the left front muffler from the catalytic converter.
-- Release and disconnect the connector -1- for the Oxygen Sensor After Catalytic Converter -G130-.
-- Free up the electrical wire.
-- Loosen and remove the screw-type clamp -2-.
-- Remove the catalytic converter -1- from the front muffler.
