Brake Pad Wear Indicator Wire, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front wheel. Refer to WHEEL, CHANGING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Release the connector -2- from its bracket in direction of -arrow A- while turning it 90° at the same time in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Free up the wire, to do so open the protective cap -3- and disengage the wires from the brake caliper -arrows-.

-- Remove the contact -1- for the brake pad wear indicator from the brake pad, while being careful of the clips -2-.

NOTE:

If the clips go missing, the brake pad wear indicator wire must be replaced. Refer to the Parts Information

-- Free up the wire, to do so open the protective cap -3- and disengage the wires from the brake caliper -arrows-.

-- Remove the contact -1- for the brake pad wear indicator from the brake pad, while being careful of the clips -2-.

NOTE:

If the clips go missing, the brake pad wear indicator wire must be replaced. Refer to the Parts Information
