Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to Coolant Pump/Coolant Regulation ; Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-, Removing and Installing.

-- Remove the Throttle Valve Control Module -GX3-. Refer to Throttle Valve Control Module -GX3-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the coolant pump. Refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If still connected, pry up the clips -1, 2 and 3- and remove the coolant hoses.

-- Disconnect the connector -arrow- for the Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 to 5-.

-- Take the Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493- off the centering pins and remove it from the engine oil cooler.
