Motor Temperature Sensor -G407-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

- Socket - T30: T10405
Procedure
Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to Motor Temperature Sensor -G407-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Engine is cold.
-- To reduce the residual pressure in the cooling system, briefly open the coolant expansion tank cap -1- by releasing the catch in direction of -arrow-.
-- Reinstall the cap until it engages.
-- Disconnect the connector -1-.
-- Place a cloth underneath to catch any escaping coolant.
-- Remove the bolt -2- and remove the Motor Temperature Sensor -G407-.
- Replace the O-rings after removing them.
-- Insert the new engine coolant temperature sensor immediately so that as little coolant is lost as possible.
-- Fill with coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
