Crankcase Ventilation Hose, Replacing

Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Bit: VAS6970 , not illustrated
- M6 Socket XZN, commercially available
Procedure
Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to OIL SEPARATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the crankcase ventilation hose -4- by pressing the release buttons on both sides.
-- Using a light tap with a plastic mallet -1- drive the M6 socket XZN -2- in the bolt -3- in direction of -arrow-.
-- Remove the bolt and then remove the crankcase ventilation hose. (Shown on Audi A8).
- Replace bolt after removal.
-- Bring the new crankcase ventilation hose into the installation position and tighten the bolt with the Bit: VAS6970 .
