Oil Spray Jets, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the oil pan upper section. Refer to OIL PAN UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the oil tray -1-.

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the engine by the timing mechanism skipping.

- Only let the engine turn in the direction of engine rotation.

-- Turn the crankshaft using the Wrench - 21mm: T40263 and Adapter: T40314 -arrow- until the corresponding oil spray jet is accessible.

-- Mark the installation position and the connecting rod bearing cap allocation to the cylinder and connecting rod for installing again later. Refer to Figure.

-- Remove the corresponding bolts -arrows- and remove the connecting rod bearing cap.

-- Remove the banjo bolt -2- and the oil spray jet -1-.

-- Repeat the procedure if necessary on each oil spray jet.
