Vibration Damper, Removing And Installing: Installing

CAUTION:

Risk of destroying the engine with the friction disc not being installed.

- Check the installation of the friction disc (diamond disc) between the vibration damper and the camshaft stub.

Replace bolts that were tightened with an additional turn after removing them.

-- Place the vibration damper -1- with a friction disk (diamond disc) -2- on the crankshaft -3- and secure with a new bolt while paying attention to the alignment pin -arrow-.

-- Place the Adapter : T40330/5 with Counterholder : T40330/1 on the vibration damper and secure using the M8x35 bolt -arrow- (23 Nm) by placing the Spacer Sleeve: T40330/3 underneath.

-- Tighten the vibration damper bolt -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and remove the counterholder.

-- Install the ribbed belt for the starter generator Refer to STARTER GENERATOR RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
