-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the left engine support -1-.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and free up the wires.

-- Remove the bolt -2- from the right rear coolant pipe.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the right engine support -1-.

-- Remove the starter. Refer to STARTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Secure the engine to the Engine and Transmission Holder: VAS6095  as shown, for this, note the installation instructions from the manufacturer.

-- Secure the Engine Bracket V8 TFSI MLB: VAS6095/1-18B  -2- and the Engine Bracket V8 TFSI: VAS6095/1-17A  -3- with 40 Nm.
