Turbocharger Vacuum Diaphragm, Replacing, Cylinder Bank 1 (Right): Removing

-- Remove the engine cover, heat shield and heat bracket. Refer to ENGINE COVER .

-- Remove the cylinder bank 1 (right) oil separator. Refer to OIL SEPARATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the screw-type clamp -1- and move the right catalytic converter toward the rear.

-- Disconnect the connectors:

For the Recirculation Valve, Bank 1 -N625-

For the Engine Cover Temperature Sensor -G765-

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and then remove the heat shield -2-.

-- Remove the vacuum hose -3- from the vacuum diaphragm; do not damage it.

-- Remove the locking spring -1- and control rod from the turbocharger operating lever.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and then remove the vacuum diaphragm -2-.
