Lower Air Duct Pipe, Removing And Installing, 2.9L Engine: Removing
-- Pay attention to the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .
Procedure, if the radiator is NOT removed do to preliminary work.
-- Remove the fan shroud. Refer to FAN SHROUD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 2.9L ENGINE .
-- Remove the upper air duct pipe. Refer to UPPER AIR DUCT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 2.9L ENGINE .
-- Disconnect the connector -1- for the Charge Air Pressure Sensor 2 -G447-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Loosen the screw-type clamps -2 and 3- and remove the lower air duct hose.
Procedure, if the radiator IS removed due to preliminary work.
-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to CHARGE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the Charge Air Cooler Temperature Sensor 1 and 2 -G763- and -G764-. Refer to CHARGE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the front coolant pipe. Refer to FRONT COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 2.9L ENGINE .
-- Disconnect the connector -1- for the Charge Air Pressure Sensor 2 -G447-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Loosen the screw-type clamps -2 and 3- and remove the lower air duct hose.
