Over-Center Spring, Removing and Installing
-- Remove circlip from pivot pin.
-- Install Spring Retainer:3246 as shown, remove over-center spring from pedal bracket and clutch pedal.
NOTE:
Holding clamp is shown with pedal bracket removed.
Clevis, Adjusting
Dimension -a- = 109.5 ± 0.5 mm (4.31 ± 0.020 in.)
-- Turn clevis as needed to adjust.
NOTE:
When measuring dimension -a-, he clevis must be at a right angle to the contact surface of the clutch master cylinder.
WARNING:
If the clutch pedal does not return automatically when clevis is correctly adjusted, check for:
- Air in clutch hydraulic system
- Restricted pedal movement in bracket
