Automatic Seat Belt TENSIONING System, S4: Removing

-- Remove sill panel trim, lower A-panel trim. Refer to A-PILLAR TRIM .

-- Pull back carpet and sound insulation.

-- Separate retractor cable from coupling tube.

-- On driver's side, cut tie-wrap from cable and remove foot rest support.

-- Remove sound insulation.

-- Remove bolt -4- and take off bracket -3-.

-- Cut tie-wraps -1-.

-- Take off adhesive tape -2- from bracket.

-- Remove clip -5- from right/left retaining bracket.

-- Cut ends off plastic retainer clips -arrow-.

-- Unhook cables at bracket.

• Frozen grommet or cable ends may be driven out with a punch.
