Check That It Is De-Energized On The Jump-Start Connection Point Using The MULTIMETER:

-- Open the cover -1- by releasing the catch.

-- Measure using the :VAG1526E between the positive terminal -2- and the negative terminal -3-.

Display on multimeter = 0 Volt.
