Connection
O-ring
- Always replace after removing.
- Coat with coolant. Refer to Parts information.
Centering Pin
Bolt
- Tightening Specifications and Sequence. Refer to Figure.
Seal
- Always replace after removing.
Coolant Pump
- Removing and installing. Refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- For a new coolant pump, remove the protective cap
Bolt
- Tightening sequence. Refer to Figure.
Toothed Belt
- For the coolant pump
- Removing and installing. Refer to COOLANT PUMP TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 9 Nm
Toothed Belt Guard
- There are different versions. Refer to the Parts information for the allocation.
Bolt
- 10 Nm + 90°
- Always replace after removing.
- Left-hand thread
Toothed Belt Sprocket
- Note the installation position
Seal
- For the intake side balance shaft
- Replacing. Refer to BALANCE SHAFT GASKET, REPLACING, INTAKE SIDE .
Intake Side Balance Shaft
Seal
- Always replace after removing.
Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-
- Removing and installing. Refer to Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- After replacing perform the "01 - mechanical engine, functions" listed adaptation. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
