Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the seals and O-ring after removal.

-- Coat the new O-rings -4- with coolant. Refer to the Parts information.

-- Make sure that both centering pins are installed in the cylinder block if necessary insert.

-- Install the connection piece -2- into the engine oil cooler -1-.

-- Push the Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493- -3- into the connection piece and onto the centering pins in the cylinder block.

-- Tighten the bolts for the Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-. Refer to Figure.

-- Install the coolant pump toothed belt. Refer to COOLANT PUMP TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the Throttle Valve Control Module -GX3-. Refer to Throttle Valve Control Module -GX3-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Additional procedures depending on the model. Refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If the Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493- is replaced, perform the "01 - mechanical engine, functions" listed adaptation. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
