Coolant Pump Toothed Belt, Removing And Installing: Removing

Toothed Belt Guard, Version 1:

-- Disconnect the connector -1- for the Oil Pressure Switch, Level 3 -F447- -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the toothed belt guard.

-- Free up the wiring harness -3-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the toothed belt guard -1-.

-- To do so counterhold the crankshaft on the vibration damper with the :T40263 , :T40314 and the 24 mm socket.

CAUTION:

There is a risk of damaging the threads.

The drive wheel bolt has left-hand thread.

-- Remove the bolt on the drive wheel -1- for the coolant pump and loosen three turns -arrow-. Use :VAG1410 and :T10360 .

-- Remove the toothed belt -2-.
