Overview - Timing Chain Cover

- Aluminum bolt 4 Nm + 45°
- Always replace the aluminum bolt after removal

- Removing and installing. Refer to Cam Adjustment Valve 1 -N205- /Exhaust Cam Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Replace the O-ring -item ) OVERVIEW - TIMING CHAIN COVER - List Item: O-Rings.

- Steel bolt 9 Nm
- Aluminum bolt 4 Nm + 45°
- Always replace the aluminum bolt after removal
- Exhaust Cam Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-
- Removing and installing. Refer to Cam Adjustment Valve 1 -N205- /Exhaust Cam Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Always replace the O-ring -item ) OVERVIEW - TIMING CHAIN COVER - List Item: O-Rings.
- Seals
- Always replace after removing.
- Installation position: smaller inner diameter outward
- Remove to replace the upper timing chain cover -item ) OVERVIEW - TIMING CHAIN COVER - List Item: Upper Timing Chain Cover
- Coat with oil before assembly
- Seal
- Always replace if damaged

- Always replace after removing.
Upper Timing Chain Cover - Tightening Specifications and Sequence
-- Tighten the bolts -1 to 6- in the sequence shown to 9 Nm.
Lower Timing Chain Cover with 15 bolts - Tightening Specifications and Sequence
- Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn after removing them.
-- Tighten the bolts in the steps shown in the sequence:

Lower Timing Chain Cover with 8 Bolts - Tightening Specification and Sequence
- Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn after removing them.
-- Tighten the bolts in the Steps below and as shown in the sequence:
