Cylinder Head, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With Gas Fuel Systems: Removing

-- Pay attention to the safety precautions. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

-- Follow the safety precautions when working on the natural gas system. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN WORKING ON VEHICLES WITH NATURAL GAS FUEL SYSTEMS .

-- Pay attention to the guidelines for clean working conditions. .

-- Remove the pressure in the natural gas high pressure line. Refer to FUEL TANK [For engine(s) DBPA] .

-- Switch the ignition off and remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the rear coolant pipes and push toward the rear. Refer to REAR COOLANT PIPES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH NATURAL GAS FUEL SYSTEMS .

-- Remove the low pressure line -1- from the fuel rail, to do so counterhold with a suitable tool on the connection.

-- Always seal the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set:VAS 6122  .

-- Remove the front muffler bolts -arrows-.

-- Loosen the lock washer -arrow- and remove the front exhaust pipe from the front muffler.

-- Slightly lower the front exhaust pipe -2- and secure as shown with a cable tie -1-.

-- Disconnect the connectors and free up the wires.
